i've been thinking a lot lately about photography. what it means to me, what i want for my future, what my goals are. and i've come to one conclusion: i have a long way to go. there is, and will always be, so much to learn!

but i've come to a point in my photography business that is killing me. i think i'm going to have to put a hold on the actual business of photography for right now. yes, i will still take photos of everything because hello, hi -- i'm mary. have you met me? i have to take photos of everything! but i don't need the stress of the business aspect of it right now. i want to fall in love with photography again. i want my passion back! and i want to learn so much more before i start charging people again.

so, consider this an informal leave of absence for mary elizabeth photography.

before you know it though, i'll be back!
